Rebecca

So my wonderful daughter didn't get her fashion sense from me!! Today she is dressed in her halloween thigh high socks, pink/purple camo stretch pants, purple skirt (that goes with pants), and a halloween turtle neck. She is soo cute. I'll try and post a couple of pics. LOL!! I just realized that I posted this under my moms name. I'm good too! lol!!

Church Program

Here are some short movies of the program.

Christmas fun

Sorry I have been slacking at posting. Things got busy and ran out of time. Here are some pictures of the gingerbread house making and the christmas program at church. All the kids did a great job. I am hoping to get everyone to rotary lights yet before christmas. Some of them were a little blurry but still wanted to share. Byraius did a great job saying his lines in the program

Baking with mom.

So I just realize that my mom must have dropped the ball somewhere! LOL. Just kidding. But I guess I will mention how on Wednesday the 17th , my mom, aunt Bev, Tarah, Tarahs friend Lisa and I were all baking goodies at moms house. I got 2 double batches of caramel done and mom did a bunch of peanut brittle. Tarah worked on sugar cookies, stained glass cookies, cream cheese mints and chocolate covered pretzels. Lisa made peppermint divinity and the best peanut butter cups I've ever tasted. I have to say that this was probably the hardest day I'd ever had baking. There were 3 little babies there and they all knew when we were in the middle of something, and would start crying. Luckily, the older kids (Emma, Tristin and even Donny) knew to stay in the kids room for most of the time.

We didn't get time to make peanut nut clusters so thursday mom and Tarah and the baby came over and we made them at that time. Debbie had to come help us as we ran out of peanuts and she had some. LOL. I really like these holiday things that we do every year (although I may not participate in some of them).

Hope you all have a Merry Christmas!!

Becca

So, just thought I'd let you know that somehow, my cranky teenaged 4yr old has suddenly become the sweetest girl on the planet. It's no wonder I'm borderline diabetic. She's been coming up to me and saying that I'm the bestest mom ever and that she loves me a whole lot. She will say the same thing to Gary (but obviously say dad). She's cute, but keeps us guessing.

Christmas Time

It was a very busy weekend. Tarah and I worked for Kwik Trip volunteering at the Rotary Lights on Friday. David and Jonathan helped us to. It was fun and not to cold. Saturday we went Caroling with church, it was a great night to do it as it was very warm. We had a lot of fun. Sunday the kids sang in church and then all came up to Grandpa and Grandma's where we made a gingerbread house. It looks great and I will post pictures later of that. Sunday night was the Christmas Program at Church. Was a very nice program and everyone did a good job. Thankfully we did fun things before it got so cold and now nobody wants to do anything but snuggle up on the couch and enjoy being in the house. I will post pictures of the things we did as soon as I can.I am hopefully putting my tree up today. Wednesday we are making cookies and candy with Aunt Bev, Tarah and Heather. Goodies for all.

Getting ready for Christmas

Tarah took some pictures of Adan by the tree. It was challenging but she got some good pictures. I have uploaded one to share . They also had breakfast with Santa with Todd and Kim this weekend. Will get some pictures of that up to for all to share. Maybe she will use this for Christmas cards.

Emma

Mandi, the girls and I were going to the onalaska walmart tonight (12/4). Becca fell asleep before we left my sisters (where we were checking on the baby), so Emma was the only one awake for the drive and therefore, easier to hear. She kept saying "Memow, memow." So I finally asked her what says Memow and she says a kitty says memow. We were laughing at how cute she was. I'm trying to remember these funny little stories to post so everyone can hear about them. More later.

Thanksgiving

Sorry its been so long since I posted anything. I am going to try to put a picture of Adan in his outfit he wore on Thanksgiving. We had a nice time at Heather's and of course she out did herself with all the food and pies. I was fortunate and nobody showed up to take away my banana cream pie so I really only had to fight Jonathan for it. It was a great pie, nobody makes them better. We went shopping the next day and focused our search on k-mart because they have lay a way and that is better for all. We got several of the Christmas presents we were hoping to. It was a nice start to the weekend and then of course we woke up to snow on Sunday. Jonathan was happy about that as he went around Tarah's neighborhood shoveling and made $75.00. He is quite the entrepreneur. We all went to Tarah's after Church and decorated her tree while Adan setup his Christmas village. Not sure how much help we really were as Emma and Vincint and Becca put most of the ornaments on and there were some branches that had five or more ornaments. I will hopefully be posting a picture of that as well.

Bad News

Unfortunately something happened when I transferred the pictures to the computer and I lost everything on my memory card. I am just sick about it. We had some great pictures of the birthday and other pictures as well. Dave and I are going to try to retrieve them tonight but I don't hold out much luck. Sorry everyone. Hey Heather, want to do a recreation and I can take new pictures? Ha Ha
We all had fun, I am sorry I can' share that with everyone

Jonathan and Davids birthdays

Today was the party for Jonathan (11) and David (10). There were SO many kids here, i felt like I ran a zoo! They each got to invite 7. Not all the invited kids showed, but some brought extras with them. There was a lot of rowdiness, but they all seemed to have fun. Although my poor husband didn't get to sleep until 2 and had to get up at 7 for work.

Tarah and her friend made and decorated the cakes for the boys. Davids had skateboards on it and Jonathans had space things. You can see pics later when my mom posts them.

They got a lot of Ben10 and Bakugan toys. They each got an airsoft gun and extra pellets. They can't wait until their dad takes them out to use them.

After the party they went to friends houses to play and spent the night. It was nice to have a quiet night to clean up after the zoo.

Adan Jr.

Tarah and Adan Jr. were at our house yesterday and when Grandpa came home he waved hi to him. He is starting to copy what you do with your arms. I am teaching him "so big" now. He went to Church Council meeting with me and was such a little flirt. We all look forward to him starting to crawl and move around more on his own.

Beccas conference

I had conferences with Rebeccas headstart teacher today. She seems really nice. Her name is Ms. Thea.
Ms. Thea said that Rebecca is very outgoing and a joy to have in class. She is friends with everyone (just like her mom). She seems extremely please with the "work" Rebecca does in class. Just like all her brothers, she likes to color and will do this whenever possible.
It was a very positive conference.

Winter is coming

Cold is here and I sure don't feel ready. We have yet to get out the snow blower and put the lawn mower away. There are yard things to get ready. Where does the time go? Jonathan celebrated his birthday on Tuesday with cupcakes for school and then Heather and Gary took him out to eat for supper. Grandpa and Grandma had the rest of the Kadera family. Emma slept the whole time and then was mad when she had to leave. Becca talked the whole time and Grandpa and Grandma were tired when she left :). Love her to death but she is so much her mom as a child. Talk Talk Talk. We didn't hear David and Ryan much as they were busy on the computers. A good time was had by all.

My family

My mom asked me to post pictures of my children so that's what I'm here to do. I don't have a ton of different ones as the majority of my pics were on my last computer that crashed a year ago. Most of these pictures were last year. I'm going to try to get some more taken soon.

The pictures I've added are: Rebeccas first day of head start last year, a cute picture of the girls sleeping (it just shows how much of a princess Rebecca is, LOL), Ryan picking strawberries, Emma as she normally is, and then finally David. I am still looking for a picture of Jonathan.

Halloween Night

Heather and the kids came Trick or Treating. They all were dressed up for Halloween. Tarah and Adan brought Adan Jr. up as well. He was dressed as Tigger. His first Halloween.
Jonathan, David and Ryan went around the park on their own and we all went out with the Girls and Heather's friend Karla and her son Tristin. The all got lots of candy. Todd and Kim stopped by before heading to Renee and Paul's for a Halloween party. I'm sure that was lots of fun.
